Once upon a time, there was a little bird named Red. Red lived in a big tree with his bird family. One day, Red saw a new bird, Blue, who was new to the tree. Red wanted to be friends with Blue, so he said, “Welcome to our tree! I am Red.” Blue was happy to have a new friend. Red and Blue played together every day. They sang songs and flew around the tree. One day, Red’s mom brought home a big, juicy worm for them to share. Red and Blue were excited to eat the worm, but they didn’t want to fight over it. They decided to split the worm in half so they could both have some. As Red and Blue ate their worm, they noticed something strange. The worm they split was actually a matchstick!
